Sonoran Blue Turquoise Ring {sz 6}

110.00

Lovingly handcrafted.

A striking teal Sonoran turquoise is set within a scalloped fine silver bezel, atop a sterling backing, with sterling silver decorative bead + wire details. A split shank adorns the back, fitting a size 6. My makers mark is included for authenticity. This ring was given a patina + brought to a shine.

Ready to ship + thoughtfully packaged in recycled materials.

—About the Stone—

Sonoran Blue turquoise is a Mexican turquoise that has beautiful shades of blue and green.  Sonoran Turquoise mining is becoming scarce. Some of the mines have already closed. The turquoise is very unique in that it is found as free-form nuggets in clay material, rather than in rock veins. The mine has produced this turquoise, since the mid-1980s. Turquoise has been used as a protective talisman for hundreds and hundreds of years.
