Bumblebee Jasper Ring {size 8.5}

65.00

A unique cut of Bumblebee Jasper rests inside of a scalloped fine silver bezel, atop a hand-stamped sterling silver backplate. My maker's mark and .925 are included on the back for authenticity. A double half round rink shank adorns the back, fitting a US size 8.5. The ring has been given a black patina and then polished to a rustic, worn aesthetic.

Bumble Bee Jasper (or Bumblebee) is actually a combination of volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulfur, arsenic, etc. There is much debate over whether it is a true jasper or an agate, as some have called it. The lovely patterns on this stone often imitate the coloring found on bumblebees, hence the name.
