Hachita Spiral Ring {size 8.5}

0.00

A beautiful blue piece of Hachita turquoise sits inside of a fine silver bezel, atop a sterling silver backplate and a heavy 9 gauge ring band. Four sterling silver spirals adorn the sides. Stamped with my maker's initials (C.G.) and .925 for authenticity. The ring was given a dark black patina and then polished to bring out the depth and details.

Hachita turquoise mining dates back to 1905. The mine is located in New Mexico. It is considered rare, as it is getting harder and harder to find and is highly sought after by turquoise collectors and jewelry enthusiasts alike. It is often found in vintage Native American jewelry. Named for the Hachita Mountain Range and translates to "Little Hachet."
