royston turquoise unisex ring {size 9.5}

0.00

A piece of Royston turquoise is nestled inside of a fine silver bezel, adorned by beaded accents and a thick, comfortable wide band fitting a US size 9.5. My maker's mark and .925 are included on the back for authenticity. This ring was given a patina for depth and a final polish, which was brought to a satin finish to bring out the details.

The Royston mine is one of the last American mines in operation today. It comes from a district near Tonapah, Nevada. It originally consisted of four old turquoise mines: Bunker Hill, Easter Blue, Royal Blue and Oscar Wehrend. Royston is known for its beautiful colors, ranging from deep green, to rich light blues and a heavy matrix. It is some of the most prized turquoise to come out of the American Southwest.
