Royston Leaves Ring {size 7-7 1/2}

0.00

A piece of Royston turquoise sits inside of a fine silver bezel, atop a sterling silver backplate. Two cast leaves adorn the sides with three fine silver ball details. A wide, triple shank adorns the back for a comfortable fit. This ring best fits a US size 7 - 7 1/2. (Note: Wide bands tend to feel a little "snugger," so be sure to size up half a size) My maker's initials (C.G.) and .925 are stamped to the back for authenticity. The ring has been given a patina and then polished to bring out the depth and detail.

The Royston mine is one of the last American mines in operation today. It comes from a district near Tonapah, Nevada. It originally consisted of four old turquoise mines: Bunker Hill, Easter Blue, Royal Blue and Oscar Wehrend. Royston is known for its beautiful colors, ranging from deep green, to rich light blues and a heavy matrix. It is some of the most prized turquoise to come out of the American Southwest.
