Hachita Rope Ring {size 8.5}

0.00

Mint green Hachita turquoise surrounded by a fine silver hand twisted rope wire and a solid sterling silver backplate. My maker's mark and .925 and stamped to a separate tag and soldered to the back and comes complete with a thick, sturdy patterned band. This ring was given a dark patina and sanded and buffed to a matte finish.

Hachita turquoise mining dates back to 1905. The mind is located in New Mexico. It is considered rare, as it is getting harder and harder to find. Often found in vintage Native American jewelry. Named for the Hachita Mountain Range and translates to "Little Hachet."
