hachita turquoise horizontal ring {size 6.25}

0.00

A beautiful teal blue piece of Hachita turquoise from New Mexico is set horizontally in a fine silver serrated bezel, atop a sterling silver backplate. My maker’s mark and .925 are included on the back for authenticity. The ring was given a patina and brought to a soft, satin finish.

Hachita turquoise mining dates back to 1905. The mine is located in New Mexico. It is considered rare, as it is getting harder and harder to find and is highly sought after by turquoise collectors and jewelry enthusiasts alike. It is often found in vintage Native American jewelry. Named for the Hachita Mountain Range and translates to "Little Hachet."
