Bronzite Fringe Necklace

0.00

A piece of Bronzite is set within a fine silver bezel, atop a chiseled framed backplate, with six pieces of fringe hanging below it. My maker's mark and .925 are included on the back for authenticity. The pendant is strung on an oxidized 8.5 inch bead chain, with the total length of the necklace measuring around 12 inches. It was given a dark patina and then polished and brought to a shine to bring out the details.

Bronzite has been found on every continent. It is one of several iron-containing minerals that make up meteorites. It is similar in structure to the Serpentine group of minerals. From a distance, Bronzite can resemble Tiger's Eye, but the stone's surface reveals a rock with gold, brown, and black (hematite or iron) patches. Bronzite can either have a cats-eye chatoyant effect or a pearly sheen.
